28 Sep Finding An Agency You Can Trust
We all know that there are a lot of digital marketing companies out there, and it can be really hard to find the right one. We’ve even had people tell us they cringe when they hear the words “digital marketing” (our sales team just loves hearing this…no, not so much actually).
The biggest problem is finding a company you can trust. There are so many fly-by-night operations out there that will take your money and run without delivering great results. This is certainly a problem, but sometimes even worse, an agency will tell you a percentage of spend they take on Pay-Per-Click ads for example. What they may not tell you is the cost of downstream cuts out of your budget. Many times multiple companies from states far away are getting cuts as well if the agency doesn’t have in-house account managers. We’ve seen actual spend when it’s all said and done at a very dissapointing 30%. And this can go on a long time without being noticed. That’s why trasnparent, quick and easy to read monthly reports are so important (hey, you should be reading those). Also, being able to call your rep and have the account manager explain it all in any detail you choose is a big plus for you. Hiding cost on the other hand, that’s just not good business.
Costs of Service is different because we’re transparent about our pricing and deliver real value for every dollar spent with us. Our team has done work for so many great clients in the past 10 years (over 30 if you include TV and Radio), including startups, small, medium, and large businesses, and branches of government. We have worked on projects ranging from creating an ecommerce website to building an app for iOS or Android devices to social media marketing campaigns on Facebook, Instagram or Twitter. While most agencies charge by the hour or project size for everything, Costs of Service charges fixed monthly fees based on your budget for digital marketing and up-front agreed upon costs based on our project analysis for development. There are times that hourly rates make sense, but whenever possible, giving a fixed price not only qualifies a potential client for us, it helps you decide if we are right for you.
In other words, you should know EXACTLY what you are investing into. And we think that’s important. We hope to hear from you soon!
